My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.
(Proverbs 4:20-22 * NLT)
(Proverbs 4:20-22 * NLT)
I was listening to this song yesterday while out for my run. I listened to it over and over for 40 minutes and just let the words sink in to my soul. I've listened to this song so many times over the years, but yesterday it took on a whole new meaning. I can't even explain it, and for what it means to me, it will mean something entirely different to each one of you.
Maybe you think of physical healing when you hear this song, or maybe emotional. Maybe you are thinking you don't even know the healing that having Jesus as your personal Saviour can bring. Maybe you're thinking you don't know what kind of healing you need...but you know that you need something. If you need prayer or want to know more about a personal relationship with a loving, living God leave me a comment and I will be in touch with you.
~Healing~by Iona
You've returned like some unsung heroWith nothing in your hand
How can a flower grow in the desert
How can a boy grow in a wasteland
There is healing
A time will come when the pain will go
A time will come when love will flow
A time will come when your heart will know
Healing
Someone paints you a view of Heaven
Someone touches your hand
There can be life for your warrior spirit
There can be freedom in this wasteland
There is healing
There is healing
A time will come when the pain will go
A time will come when love will flow
A time will come when your heart will know
Healing
I watch you wait for the pain to go
I watch you wait for love to flow
I watch you wait for your heart to know
Healing
A time will come when the pain will go
A time will come when love will flow
A time will come when your heart will know
Healing
Coming down off the mountain with them, he stood on a plain surrounded by disciples, and was soon joined by a huge congregation from all over Judea and Jerusalem, even from the seaside towns of Tyre and Sidon. They had come both to hear him and to be cured of their ailments. Those disturbed by evil spirits were healed. Everyone was trying to touch him—so much energy surging from him, so many people healed! Then he spoke:
You're blessed when you've lost it all.
God's kingdom is there for the finding.
You're blessed when you're ravenously hungry.
Then you're ready for the Messianic meal.
You're blessed when the tears flow freely.
Joy comes with the morning.
(Luke 16: 17-21 * The Message)
