A Funny Caleb Moment

Caleb loves playing with kitchen utensils. The other day I turned around to see him like this.  The first thing that came to mind was "oh, he must be reliving his delivery"!  A picture worth a thousand words.

Praise and Prayer Request

Praising God for our dear friends Dad's successful triple bypass surgery today.  Please keep the family in your prayers.  The next 24 hours are critical and then it will be about a 2 month long recovery process.  God is faithful~thank you Lord for hearing the prayers of your children!!!!!!!

Vacation Memories

A little vacation update...

We enjoyed our vacation at the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds this past week.  We have had a rough Summer and this vacation was not without its trouble. Our trailer fridge quit working so we had to dump $75 worth of groceries not too long into the week.  Our friends came through for us and let us borrow their portable fridge otherwise our vacation would have ended before it really even began.  I got really sick the first day we were there, but after 3 or 4 days was feeling better.  Oh and did I mention the rain, and wind...and more rain?? 

Despite all of the challenges the week brought it was still a wonderful time at our favorite place.  We all left feeling refreshed and are so thankful for such an incredible place!!  I'm in the process of making a slide show of vacation pictures as well as sharing more thoughts on this amazing place.  Keep checking back for updates!

There Is Healing

I was listening to this song yesterday while out for my run.  I listened to it over and over for 40 minutes and just let the words sink in to my soul.  I've listened to this song so many times over the years, but yesterday it took on a whole new meaning.  I can't even explain it, and for what it means to me, it will mean something entirely different to each one of you.  

Maybe you think of physical healing when you hear this song, or maybe emotional. Maybe you are thinking you don't even know the healing that having Jesus as your personal Saviour can bring. Maybe you're thinking you don't know what kind of healing you need...but you know that you need something.
